Reuben Abati, the spokesperson for President Jonathan has released a statement on the killing of students in Yobe state today Tuesday 25th February 2014 by members of the Boko Haram sect.
According to the statement, the commander-in-chief is saddened by the situation and assures an increase in security for the nation.
The attack targeted at the Federal College, Buni Yadi, Yobe, went down at 2 AM. Explosives were reportedly hurled into student residential buildings; the gunmen targeted male students and spared female students.
Over 43 bodies are in the mortuary.
