''Nigeria Will Stop Importing Fuel By 2016'' – Africa's Richest Man, Aliko Dangote

President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, the richest in Africa said the current fuel imports by Nigeria will end in 2016 because of the proposed Dangote Petrochemical Project that is about to be established.

Dangote Group has finalised plans to begin construction of the largest refinery in Africa, petrochemicals and fertilizers manufacturing complex in Nigeria with a loan obtained from a consortium of banks offering credit line $3.3Billion for the project.
The project is expected to be $9Billion American Dollars which is said to be the largest investment in Africa, and is expected to boost Nigeria to become self-sufficient in fuel importation.
Nigeria currently spends about $30 Billion a year importing petroleum products.

Just imagine the employment aspect first....The project will be wow...
